Wow, last week was a BUSY week! Life at Scandinavian Child is fast-paced, fun, and there is always excitement around the next turn!

Hello all, Matt Shaw here, the new sales rep! If you’re not familiar, I’m the new guy bringing the “goofy guy” presence into the office.

Speaking of the office, what a different experience it is to be working in an office all day, rather than being in my car—previous job. The new work environment is challenging and I am constantly learning so many things I didn’t know regarding children and their safety. As you know, the safety of your child is the first priority in all of our products!

I am very excited to be entering a new industry. There are so many different aspects to caring for a child and doing it safely. I can’t think of a better place to be than here, learning for the future of my children by furthering my career as an advocate of children’s safety. I hope to learn how the Scandinavian Child line of products best fits into a family and how to increase the overall brand experience one receives from our products. When the customer is pleased, and children grow up in a safe environment, we have done our job!

It amazes me at how much Scandinavian Child focuses on increasing child safety knowledge for mothers everywhere. Since I don’t have any children of my own just yet, I have a lot to learn, but I’m excited about each and every step of the process, because one day…I’ll be a father too!

*Matt has just joined the Scandinavian Child team as one of our sales reps. He’ll be traveling in the South and Mid-West visiting our retailers and working to improve brand awareness.
