My First Review - Beaba Babycook Baby Food Maker
We received the Beaba Babycook Baby Food Maker as a baby shower gift from my husband's office. While everyone contributed I am 110% positive that the idea and purchaser was his boss!! She's been raving about the babycook for 3 years now! She was sure that it was the perfect item for us and that we needed it. I NEVER believed her!!! After my recent experience Ive got to say....... she was right and I LOVE the Beaba Babycook Baby Food Maker. Anyone who knows me knows I don't cook!! However, this was not only simple but fun and way healthier then store bought baby food! View the full review here.

Chef Mom... Meet Your New BFF
The steamer function on the Babycook is extremely high powered. It steams carrots in about half the time it takes with my Black & Decker steamer/rice cooker. I use that as a bar because thats a food favorite that tends to take the longest to prepare. The big perk to this device is that all the healthy juices collect in the bottom of the container and can be added back into the puree so you dont lose any of the nutritional goodness. That means all the extra money you spent on buying organic food doesnt go to waste. The steam function also works really well for fish, poultry and meats. Something I didnt think too much about when making the purchase. Its a healthy way to prepare this type of food while maintaining nutritional value. They only take a couple of minutes to steam and they puree so fine that your little one wont even know they are in their favorite concoctions. View the full review .

Beaba-The Little Steamer That Could
I have to give credit to the Beaba Babycook for helping me to become a baby food making machine. A couple of years ago when my son was starting on solids, I made the decision to make homemade baby food. I cannot say enough about this little life saver! I absolutely love it! It is so easy to use and great for all stages of baby food making and beyond. Even after my son had outgrown baby food I used the Babycook for steaming vegetables. It has an automatic shut-off and ensures perfectly steamed veggies. I recently pulled the babycook back out for my daughter and re-sparked my romance with this amazing little machine. It is seriously that good. View the full review here.

Beaba Babycook - Product Review
In the past I made all of Enzo's baby food using my stove and because I was cooking in large batches and freezing I ended up throwing away a lot of food. I realized that frozen puree is not the same as fresh puree and after a couple weeks it always gets freezer burn. The Beaba has a little basket where you put your food in to steam. The size of the basket makes it so that it's impossible do do large batches. You still get left overs but it's not excessive. Also, because of the convenience of not having to worry whether your veggies are burning or whether you have enough water to steam them, it makes it so that it's easy to have fresh puree every day or at least every other day. I also liked how the appliance kept the water that was used for steaming the butternut squash. It became a good broth that I later used for other foods. Before pureeing I added a handful of cheese, just to add a little more flavor. The puree button allows you to control how thick to make your baby food. View the full review here.

The official launch of Harrys Best Bites!
Before I even had Harrison, I knew I wanted to make his baby food. I love being in the kitchen, I love making things for my family & friends, & its just so& organic. & yall know me, Im not exactly crunchy by any stretch of the imagination, but I do like knowing that what goes into my kid is fresh & wholesome. So I purchased a Beaba BabyCook machine we didnt have a blender, I had a coupon, & I knew Id be strapped for time as a working mom. & this just made sense I could make his food, but not be up until 2am making it. I started making food here & there&.a few rounds of apples, then branched out into chicken, then some sweet potatoes. A couple rounds of peas (it took two tries to get them to a consistency he would eat), some cranberry applesauce, & green beans. Its SO EASY. I repeat: SO EASY. Just plop the food into the BabyCook, fill up the water level, turn it on, & walk away. So since potatoes (pictured above) can take awhile to steam, I plop them in & walk away for 15 minutes. Then come back, puree them, store them, & the whole process takes roughly 5 minutes total since I dont have to stand by the BabyCook, or a steaming stove. View the full review here.

Beaba Babycook Prize Pack
Consider those as inspiration for what you could do if you had a Beaba Babycook. The Beaba Babycook is an invaluable tool for parents who want to make their own baby food (and especially for those who are afraid to try). It steams and purees fresh food in small batches, all in one easy-to-use machine. Making a big batch of baby food involves using a pot and taking out the food processor, which gives you two big things to wash, and then if you make something your baby doesnt like, youre stuck with a ton of it. The Babycook is a set it and forget it appliance, so theres no fire on the stove. Its easy to clean and easy to get the hang of it, even for non-cooks. Your biggest problem will be figuring out what to do with the leftover fresh produce (it can be hard to find in correspondingly small batches). But if you can work that into your diet, all the better for everyone. View the full review here.

I decided early on I wanted to try to make my own baby food. I started feeding my daughter solids at 6 months, and this little device makes it so easy. Babypote from Beaba
One of my favourite baby and kids products brands Beaba came up with another fantastic idea beginning this year: the babypote! When KleinR was a baby I cooked her meals myself as well as fruit purees. Later I found those handy packages to squeeze fruit purees in the supermarket - for on the go. And now (!!!), I can cook the purees myself again and put them in a squeezable pot ... and take them with me to one of our walks or when I pick her up from daycare or or or There you go, sometimes I wonder what else can be discovered that is not on the market yet...But back to the product, it is perfect. Cook your very own/ your kids favourite puree and fill it in the pote (large neck for easy filling and cleaning). Good for the enviroment and your wallet as you will stop buying the supermarket stuff... View the full review here.

Beaba Babycook
I got the Beaba Babycook last week & I was so excited to start using it!! I bought some frozen organic peas & frozen organic sweet potatoes from Whole Foods & was super pumped to make Isis' meals for the week! I love that everything is in the same container & you just dump the food from the basket down into the part with the blades when you're ready to puree. We started with the peas. You put water in the steamer part on the left & then you put a little more water in the bottom of the bowl on the right. It will defrost & then cook your food. Then you dump it out of the basket it's in - you can't really see that, my pictures aren't zoomed or anything - & you puree in the bowl. View the full review here.

Cooking with Cuties

Product Review: Beaba Babycook
So I know this isnt really what Cooking with Cuties is for, but this is what I spend a lot of time doing.. so I thought I would share it with you mamas. For Christmas my mother-in-law got me a Beaba Babycook to make my own baby food. I cannot RAVE enough about this product. You can steam and puree the fruits or veggies in the same compartment. Below is a tutorial on how to use the Babycook. Hope you enjoy. First you add water to the Babycook. The product comes with directions on how much water to add, depending on what fruit or vegetable you are using. You then cut up the fruit (I used Nectarines) and add it to the Babycook. You turn the switch on to the "steam" icon and wait until the light turns off. Once the light is off... you take out the fruit in the "basket" it is steamed in. You then choose how much of the water produced from the steam you would like to mix in your fruit. I use all the water because that is where the nutrients go after steaming. Add it back to the fruit. You then hold the knob on the puree icon until fruit is pureed to desired amount. Lastly, pour baby food into desired containers. View the full review here.

Maternity and Baby Gear Reviews
As far as I know, the Babycook is the only product out there especially made for preparing baby food. It can steam, blend, reheat and defrost all in the same bowl, so there are fewer dishes and more available counter space than if you were to combine the use of a steamer, blender and microwave. (Plus, reheating with steam is healthier than nuking by microwave anyway.) The Babycook is a substantial, well-made product that's also perfectly compact (which makes a lot of sense if you've ever seen the size of an apartment kitchen in Paris). It's easy to use, and foods can be prepared fairly quickly. Steam cooking can take up to 15 minutes, but you don't need to babysit the food while it's in progress - just come back at the end of the cycle and blend for the finishing touch. Blending can be really quick if your older baby is ready for chunky food, or a few seconds longer if your little guy needs everything pureed. View the full review here.

Beaba Infant Spoons
I loved them even more when I began to feed him purees with these. They are made of a soft silicone and have a long handle, so first of all, your hands can stay quite clean with these during feeding. I sent one to daycare with Gavin and my provider, with 20 years under her childcare belt, has proclaimed this the best spoon shes EVER fed a child with. View the full review here.
